Our story

Two siblings,
one idea

It all started with the food recall.

Like many, we were perplexed by the resurgence of the very preventable Cyclospora outbreak that affected America’s food supply this summer. Yes, there had been outbreaks before, but this one seemed to spread faster and wider. Recalls seemed to become a daily occurrence: poultry, eggs, blueberries, bread, and the list goes on.

We had an opportunity in 2024 to shatter a glass ceiling. Instead we ended up with glass contaminating our bread.
Which seems like a pretty apt metaphor for this entire administration.

Of course, the recalls were not happening in isolation.

Things we, as a country, did this year

  • Started a tariff war with Canada (aka the country equivalent of Mr. Rogers, whose primary exports are apologies and hockey).
  • Put something called DOGE in charge of the federal workforce. Named after a dog meme and headed by a manchild. Tens of thousands of jobs cut. Zero accountability.
  • Pardoned January 6. Storming the Capitol was forgiven. Protesting ICE still gets you arrested.
  • Left the Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization. Climate and disease were boring. We’re doing UFC fights at the White House instead.
  • Tried to rewrite mail-in voting by executive order: new paperwork to prove you are who you say you are, a hard cutoff for ballots to physically arrive, and Washington telling states how to run their own elections. The courts blocked the core of it. Still unclear which part of “by mail” was the problem.

With the 2026 midterms fast approaching, we figured there had to be a more fun way to channel the political chaos. Then the brother, the creative one, had an idea for a shirt: Make America Edible Again. The sister, the organized one, immediately started thinking, okay, how do we make this a thing?

And, as these things tend to do, one idea sprouted into several more.

A good shirt might spark a conversation, a laugh, a little awareness, and, come November, a trip to the polls.

So here we are: making merch inspired by the headlines, the absurdity, and the issues we care about.

If you think we are exaggerating

2,502 food recalls
since January 2025

We pulled every one of them from the FDA's own database. A thousand and seventy two were Class I, which is the government's way of saying this one could kill you. It is all there, searchable, with the FDA's wording intact.

Midterm elections are November 3

Wear it. Share it.
Hand it to someone.

Every shirt is a conversation you do not have to start yourself.
